Apple store greenville sc12/14/2022 ![]() And once we said that we wanted to go ahead and replace it, they let us know that the replacement would cost less than half of the original estimate that was already a very good price. They told us an estimate on the replacement phone which we were happy to pay because it was already a good deal. We were told right away that the issue wasn’t fixable because it was a hardware issue and we needed a replacement phone. I came in to their store near their closing time and it also happened to be very busy night for the Genius Bar but someone came to us right away to direct us to a specialist who could run diagnostics and give us some options. APPLE STORE GREENVILLE SC PLUSMy IPhone 7 Plus was having issues with the speaker, you couldn’t hear anything on calls and some other features. So after 3 hours of updating both to the same, the data transfer from phone to phone had no other issues. Found out later after buying the Iclouds storage that both phone where on different updates. It was just frustrating on not being able get assistant even if it was something that small. I said why would I do that when I can get help here and be said they would be happy to help you over the phone. ![]() He then said the same thing about they won’t help you and buy more I cloud storage and then call Costumer support through Apple. I asked again if I could have someone look at my phones and help me with the problem. He proceeds to tell me to buy more iCloud storage and do it that way. I explained I wanted help with one of the guys who works on it cause obviously I’m missing something in the quick start and my research wasn’t doing me any good. The guy at the front of the line who was letting people in, asked me what I was there for and I explained and he was like there nothing we can do for you. APPLE STORE GREENVILLE SC CRACKEDI gave it one star for the fact I went there for help with transferring my stuff off my old cracked phone to the new replacement phone. He put me on hold for 20 minutes, and then came back to say that he would have to locate a manager and have him call me back. I assured him that it had indeed happened there. His response was this could not have happened here. The person who answered identified themself as a manager and I told him what had happened. I called Apple Corporate at two locations, and they finally put my call through to the Haywood Mall store. It will take weeks before this mess is straightened out. I have also had several fraudulent charges added to my credit cards, and have had to cancel those charges and apply for replacement cards. My email address was given to more than 500 websites around the world, and I have spent hours and hours trying to unsubscribe from all of them. I had a simple repair done to my Mac, and was very happy with it until I got home to find that a data breech had happened while the computer was at the Apple store. The ONLY way they can check stock, is to physically go to the store. In further notes, apple support tells me they do not have the ability to check stock on a part. They seriously need to do a better job working with their customers. Its amazing their phone service can tell me my phone number, my lap top model, all based on my calling number, but could they even use that information to detemine the correct battery. ![]() The incompetent people there dont even have the knowledge to read the information from my laptop over the phone and actually order the part in advance rather than wasting a trip to their store. In order to get such information, Im expected to drive hours to the store so they can look at it, then order the battery, then come back so they can spend up to a week replacing the battery. Oh but in order to know what battery they need, they need information off the laptop. In all the years of apple product purchasesI have never had anyone ever try and sell me a SIM card as an accessory. I have been an apple customer since the 1st iPhone came out and purchased just about every new model since and so have my wife and kids. When I spoke with the manager at the Apple store to try and get a new SIM card he stated it was considered an accessory and to go to my phone carrier to get a new one. ![]() I admit I did not read the email that stated I had to remove my SIM card before sending out. Due to the lack of competence and customer service at the Apple store in the Haywood mall I had to mail my phone to Apple HQ in California. If your going to lie to your customers at least be consistent.Part 2. Tried to drop off before my appointment and was told I can’t leave my phone before appointment time. They stated I could leave the phone and pick up next day. Upon arrival was told that they couldn’t fix my phone before closing due to taking in too many walk ins. Was told we don’t do walk ins, so I made an appointment. ![]()
